One passion, one vision
Dive Bär is so much more than a Gland craft brewery that won Gold at the Frankfurt International Trophy.
Founded in 2016, Dive Bär started out as a fun kitchen experiment and quickly became a professional pursuit for its two founders. In just a few years, Jonathon Klassen and David Shotlander had turned their passion into a recognized brand backed by a distinctly different approach that combines organic ingredients and the duo’s conviction that local is better.

Gland New Economy Prize
In 2020, Dive Bär’s circular business model earned it top honours in the Gland New Economy Prize and was invited by the City of Gland to set up shop in a vacant lot next to Gland train station.
Soon after, the brewery joined the Swiss Triple Impact Program, proof of their commitment to sustainability and the United Nations’ Sustainable Development Goals. Part of Dive Bär’s approach is to work with local partners of all kinds—not just suppliers, but actors from the local community.

En août 2022, après près de deux ans de planification, le rêve des partenaires deviendra réalité.
Une destination unique dans le nouveau centre-ville de Gland, où les gens de toute la région et d’ailleurs pourront se réunir pour déguster des bières artisanales, mais pas seulement. On y trouvera également d’autres boissons produites sur place, des aliments de haute qualité et d’origine locale provenant de leur cuisine interne et de « food trucks » invités, ainsi que des événements et d’autres activités de renforcement de la communauté.
Le secteur Gland Gare Sud est sur le point de devenir le nouveau cœur de la ville, et Dive Bär a un emplacement central et un rôle à jouer dans le développement de la zone.
