Hello Dive Bär fans!
We hope you and your loved ones are keeping healthy healthy and managing to avoid the worst effects of COVID-19. We’re living in crazy times but we hope that this crisis will soon be behind us. The solidarity we’ve seen over the past few weeks has really inspired us and we hope it will continue well beyond the crisis.
In case you were wondering what was going on with Dive Bär lately, here’s a little update.
COVID-19
We’re still here, but COVID-19 is having a definite effect on business: the weekly Gland market and all of our other events—together, they constitute our main source of income—have been cancelled or postponed. However, we’re determined to keep brewing to satisfy our loyal customers. The response from our fans over the past few weeks has been phenomenal: people in Gland and beyond have supported us by ordering our beers online. Thank you all!
Good news for a change
We’re looking forward not only to the end of this crisis, but to much more. We are in the process of forming an SA, which will allow us to officially launch our investment and crowdfunding campaigns as soon as things settle down. And we’re also close to signing a lease for a new Dive Bär space, but that too will wait until the situation is more favourable for everyone.
What else is new?
We’re still accepting orders and, as usual, delivery is free in the greater Gland area—from Nyon to Rolle and everywhere in between—for orders of 50 Fr. or more. We have made changes to our online shop and, well, now it works! So try it out and if it doesn’t work, let us know!
Also, we’re continuing our “10% more Beer” promotion, whereby we give you extra beer worth about 10% of your order. What’s not to like?
But if ordering beer isn’t a priority for you right now, we understand—it’s a tough time for many of us! But you can still help us by telling people about us. (Thanks in advance for that!)
